Refugee Health Partnership

Helping refugees overcome barriers in health care while training health care providers to better serve refugee populations is the goal of this partnership between ASU’s School of Social Work, Chatholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Program, International Rescue Committee’s Refugee Resettlement Program and Dignity Health’s St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

This student-led partnership between ASU and Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine offers health care education and primary care to refugees living in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Refugee Integration, Stability, and Education Tutoring

Rise Tutoring is a partnership between an ASU student organization and the American Muslim Women’s Association. The team tutors and mentors refugee children, who face challenges due to language and socioeconomic barriers, to help them become academically successful.
