ASU understands that so much more can be accomplished when working together. That’s why we partner with various organizations to help refugees overcome the challenges they face.
Refugee Health Partnership
Helping refugees overcome barriers in health care while training health care providers to better serve refugee populations is the goal of this partnership between ASU’s School of Social Work, Chatholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Program, International Rescue Committee’s Refugee Resettlement Program and Dignity Health’s St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
Refugee Integration, Stability, and Education Tutoring
Rise Tutoring is a partnership between an ASU student organization and the American Muslim Women’s Association. The team tutors and mentors refugee children, who face challenges due to language and socioeconomic barriers, to help them become academically successful.
