Partnerships and Alliances
Providing outreach and support
ASU programs work in partnership with many other refugee-serving groups to provide educational outreach and other support. ASU is also an active member of a number of refugee-serving networks and alliances. Information on some of these local, national, and global partners is provided here, with descriptions of the common goals.
Where we work
Who we work with
ASU works with a diverse set of partners, ranging from those which operate "on the ground" in refugee camps to global research networks. The Education for Humanity program, for instance, partners with local implementing groups to provide educational support directly to camp-based and urban refugees in a number of countries. The range and types of partnerships may vary, depending on the country context. E4H also maintains global partnership arrangements which can be mobilized in a wide set of countries as needs develop.
In Arizona, ASU programs work with a wide set of local refugee-serving organizations, ranging from the Arizona State Office of Refugee Resettlement and other state government units as well as with numerous ethnic and community based organizations.
